Sophie spent her retirement as the Dowager Queen of the "house-mice" at Merthyr. In her final years she lost the use of her hindquarters, but still by "implied threat" she remained boss bitch and respected by the others until the day she died. She was a grand old lady and left a major hole in our hearts.
